I am a Jewelry designer and have been collecting beads and stones, Jade and Pearls, Malachite and Turquoise along with any other pieces of interesting stuff for a lot of years now. I have also haunted some pretty spectacular out of the way markets and even tribal huts to purchase a find. I like to think that I have never given less than what the person selling wanted for their treasure but in all cases everyone was happy with the deal. After all, hard times call for hard measures and treasures leave us for the survival of the family, hopefully temporarily. Design today is frivolous and stark, formal and funky and just about anything that suits your mood. Feathers and leather with stone, wood and glass can make up some wonderful cocktails of creativity to adorn the necks of everyone desiring a different look, just for them, one of a kind.
